Welcome to The Imp the Art Shoppe of P. L. Stevenson.
The Imp attempts to bring back a haunted world of Quality Street tins if Mr Rowntree had happened to be a druid. A half remembered hauntology of a time when bubble-gum cards had cartoon pictures of the Old Gods and children read a fun time weekly comic called The Frost and the Fire.
The old customs and myths of Britain are returning as people realise that they need community and that community is tied to land. There has always been a aesthetic of the common folk, a crude handwrought one that harks back to an imaginary past that explains better how to navigate the physical now.
It should also raise a shiver and a smile.

Pop-Alchemy
The work of P.L. Stevenson explores the question, what happens when our pop-cultural icons have become magickal?
Does Noddy Holder become a gnostic God? Hattie Jaques an egergore of immense power? Is Gnasher the new trickster of the age of Horus? mixing esotricism, pop-art and all multiverse goonery P.L.Stevenson investigates the questions you don’t ask yourself - but know you should.
